About This Class
This class will teach you how to create and animate 3D lettering in Adobe After Effects. I will show you how to use the After Effects built-in 3D extrusion tool to create three-dimensional lettering. I will take you through the process of positioning your lettering in 3D space, animating the extrusion and setting up colour controls to add some depth to your letters.
Who This Class Is For
This class is perfect for animation and After Effects beginners. No previous knowledge of typography is needed. Some knowledge of creating keyframes and manoeuvring the software, might come in handy, but you don’t have to worry, I’ll take you through everything.

Materials / Resources
We will be creating lettering in After Effects, so you don’t need to have any assets ready. It would help to prepare a short quote of 3-5 words. You will not need any other software to create this animation apart from Adobe After Effects.
